The Gallery
Unit 1, The Gallery. The Shambles Market Hall, The Shambles, Worcester WR1 2RF
Shambles Fine Art is an independent exhibition space located close to
the centre of Worcester, in the historic Shambles Market Hall. It was
established in September 2024 by two artists, Jessica Andersen and
Peter Soye, and is now a thriving centre for local art in Worcestershire.
The gallery's main objective is to provide an exhibition space in the city-
centre where talented local artists are able to show and sell their work to
the public. We run a non-profit model and do not charge commission on
artists' sales.
Over the last year, Shambles Fine Art has become something of a hub
for local painters and creatives and has established strong links with
other artists' groups and exhibition spaces around Worcester. We have
works for sale over a wide range of prices, and in a comprehensive
range of visual media including painting in oils, acrylics, watercolours
and mixed media, drawings and works in pastels, as well as digital
works on paper and aluminium and some sculpture and ceramics. In
addition, the gallery is utilised by some of the artists as a space in which
to produce new work.
